Pop Can Drop Off (18:30)
A reminder that the 872 Kiwanis Kanata Air Cadet Squadron pop can drive for the year begins Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
Aluminum pop cans must be empty and crushed, in a closed bag, and labelled with the cadet’s rank and last name. Cadet participation is tracked throughout the year.
Future drop-offs will also take place on the first parade night of each month, unless posted otherwise on the squadron website.
Cadets must drop-off their bagged pop cans with the coordinator just outside the lobby of AY Jackson High School before parade begins at 6:30 pm.
Pop cans are turned in to a local scrap metal dealer and all proceeds go to 872 Squadron activities. Thanks in advance for making this a successful fundraiser.
