The 872 Kanata Kiwanis Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron finished off an exciting, fun-filled year with their Annual Parade and Review on Saturday, June 6 at the Richmond Arena.

The 100 cadets on parade proudly displayed many of the things they had learned over the past year with dynamic displays of the band, film canister rockets and the outstanding drill team....

7   Link   Cadets have busy fall
Cadets of 872 Kanata Kiwanis Squadron are off to a great start this fall with lots of fun events planned for November and December as well. We have already assisted with the annual Fallen Fire Fighters parade and a Vintage Wings event, marched in the Battle of Britain parade, held a glider day and a tag day, started Ground School, Band and Drill team and completed our first Bush Weekend.

11   Link   Cadets spend a night on the fly
Twenty-four lucky cadets from 872 Kiwanis-Kanata Air Cadet Squadron recently spent the night at the Aviation Museum. The sleepover was primarily to give new cadets an opportunity to get to know each other but the supervising senior cadets also had a great time.

Cadets from 872 Squadron enjoyed a pot luck dinner and games with visiting cadets from New Brunswick.

In early January, 872 Kiwanis Kanata Air Cadet Squadron welcomed 40 cadets from Campbellton, New Brunswick who were visiting Ottawa on an Inter-Provincial Cadet exchange.
