Mess Dinner - all cadets are to attend!

The Annual 872 Squadron Mess Dinner will be held on Sat March 3 at the RCAF Officer's Mess at 158 Gloucester St, Ottawa. Attendance is for those people with pre-purchased tickets.
This activity is considered a formal parade and counts for the Training Level requirement to attend a formal parade. All cadets are expected to attend. Cadets not attending must contact the Commanding Officer to explain their absence.
Dinner will include a 3 course meal following the time honoured traditions of a military Mess Dinner, followed by our Guest Speaker, Colonel C.M. Fletcher, Director Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers. It is important that we have as many cadets present as possible!
Dress for cadets is full dress uniform with white shirt and black bow tie, with medals. Dress for civilians is business suit or semi-formal attire.
Cadets should arrive at the Officers Mess for 18:30hrs. Pickup time is 21:30hrs.
A seating plan will be posted. Seating locations may not be changed. Please check your seat location when you arrive.
Coats/Wedges are to be left in the coat-room. Headdress MAY NOT be brought into the Mess.
- tickets may be purchased from Tuck Shop on Wed parade nights. Cadets will be given priority for seats. If extra seating is available, parents and guests will be added. Please advise the Tuck Shop of any parents/guests to be added to the waiting list.
If parents would like to attend, the cost is $35.00 (payable only if there is availability).
The parents are put on a waiting list and if room is available they will be notified by telephone.
